Established in 2000 to provide one month respite visits for children from Belarus to;
Strengthen their immune systems by removing them from continual low level radiation and providing good fresh healthy food, clean air and exercise; Encourage friendships & shared experiences between them and local British children Arrange eye tests and provision of glasses where necessary Provide the children with clothing, particularly for winter months, and sturdy shoes.

Organised by 2nd Didcot Methodist Scouts--sponsor money to be shared equally between Medicine & Chernobyl (Didcot Group) and the walkers choice of charity
7th OCT - BARN DANCE

WE TAKE PART IN CAR BOOT SALES AND CAN SELL ANY OF YOUR UNWANTED ITEMS
WE ALSO HAVE A PLANNED GIVING SCHEME WHERE PEOPLE COMMIT THEMSELVES TO PAYING A MONTHLY SUM OF THEIR CHOICE (typically between £2 & £10)
ALL DONATIONS CAN BE SUPPLEMENTED BY THE SIGNING OF A 'GIFT AID' DECLARATION WHICH ADDS 28p to every £1 donated

DAILY PROGRAMME
First two weeks at the Fir Tree School in Wallingford. In the final two weeks during the start of the school holidays the children will take part in an overnight Scout camp All sorts of other activities with host families will take place.
